CXO roundtable cloud security for government agencies: strategies & best practices

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Authority of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications) warns about the increasing trend of cyber attacks, especially ransomware, in Vietnam. In the first 3 months of 2024, there were 2,323 cyber attacks on information systems in Vietnam. Many agencies, organizations, and businesses have been attacked, causing system disruptions, serious material damage, and affecting the national cyberspace security. In a short period of time, there have been a series of serious data encryption attacks. Hackers often infiltrate for a period of time, then encrypt data for ransom. According to cybersecurity experts, cyber attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, especially with the involvement of large international criminal groups. Therefore, systems in Vietnam are always at risk of being attacked at any time.

In this context, Authority of Information Security, Ministry of Information and Communications, in collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and IEC Group, will organize a CxO Roundtable on Enhancing Incident response and Data security in the Digital age in Hanoi on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024. The roundtable will create a forum for policymakers and distinguished domestic and foreign experts to meet, share and discuss strategies, policies and solutions to enhance data protection capacity and response to cyber attacks.
