National Urban Conference 2022<\/b> affirms its position as the leading prestigious forum in the field of construction and smart urban planning , sustainable in Vietnam. <\/span>Under the coordination of the Ministry of Construction and the Central Economic Commission, the event was held on November 16, 2022 in a series of specialized seminars. with the following topics: \u201cImproving the quality of Urban Planning towards sustainable development\u201d<\/strong><\/em>; \u201cInfrastructure system development and urban reconstruction\u201d<\/strong><\/em>; \u201cMechanisms and policies for urban development management\u201d<\/strong><\/em>. Professional coordinating units include the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association, the General Construction Association, the Association of Vietnamese Cities and the Vietnam Urban Forum; Coordinating units include the Department of Urban Development (Ministry of Construction), IEC Group and the Public-Private Partnership Alliance for Smart Cities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The seminar series aims to become a forum to help domestic and foreign experts share and exchange and determine the vision and long-term strategy in developing urban areas, thereby providing additional suggestions and recommendations to contribute to the process of building and planning urban areas in Vietnam in the future. The event attracted more than 1,000 high-ranking delegates from the Government sector, leaders of agencies, domestic and international organizations, associations, research institutes, universities as well as local leaders. <\/span><\/p>\n

Event includes activities: Sessions <\/span>High-level forum<\/b> co-chaired by the Prime Minister, the Head of the Central Economic Commission and the Minister of Construction; 3 <\/span>Thematic Workshop Session <\/b>by leaders representing the Ministry of Construction, the Central Economic Commission, the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, and the Law Committee co-chaired by the National Assembly, Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association, Vietnam Urban Forum and leaders of functional departments and agencies of the Ministry of Construction; thematic seminars with topics: (1)<\/strong> Improving the quality of Urban Planning towards sustainable development solid; (2)<\/strong> Developing infrastructure systems and urban reconstruction; (3)<\/strong> Mechanisms and policies for urban development management.<\/span><\/p>\n

At High Level Forum Session<\/strong>, <\/span>The location, role, potential, and strengths of the city have been focused on analysis so that all levels and sectors have the right awareness of the scope and act appropriately and effectively in the spirit of development. Symposium 1<\/strong>: \u201cImproving the quality of Urban Planning towards sustainable development\u201d, focusing on in-depth analysis, Evaluate and discuss key solutions for planning, construction, management and sustainable urban development according to the perspective and spirit of Resolution No. 06-NQ\/TW; innovate thinking, theories and methods of urban planning; requirements to ensure that approved urban planning has a long-term, synchronous and modern vision, with people and quality of life at the center; urban culture and civilization as the foundation for development; Harmoniously combining the process of urbanization and urban development with industrialization, modernization, building new rural areas and restructuring the urban economy, at the same time with social development management and conservation. ensure national defense and security. Symposium 2<\/strong>: \u201cInfrastructure system development and urban reconstruction\u201d, focusing on analysis, evaluation, summarize local practical experience and solutions to improve the quality of urban infrastructure; Invest in and expand, upgrade, infrastructure and services for poor, informal areas and areas with limited infrastructure to contribute to solving poverty, inequality, and promoting promote urban integration; Projects, public transportation programs, trees, urban reconstruction,… environmental improvement, urban landscape architecture need to be promoted; Deploying digital infrastructure in appropriate urban areas to promote the construction of a smart urban development platform, creating sustainable financial resources in new construction and renovation of existing urban infrastructure systems.< \/p>

Symposium 3:<\/strong> \u201cMechanisms and policies for urban development management\u201d, focusing on discussion on coordination in the of functional agencies to develop and improve policies related to urban development management; Breakthrough policy mechanisms that create leverage for sustainable urban development, Law on Urban Management and Development and the scope of regulation of urban development management, solutions on political mechanisms policies to promote the position and resources of innovation and creativity of Vietnamese cities. Innovation requirements create policy mechanisms to promote the spirit of local initiative and creativity.<\/p>\n

In parallel with the thematic Workshop sessions, exhibitions displaying urban development achievements also took place.
